Vidya Rattan College of Women was established in the year 2015 by Shri Mahavir Educational Welfare and Charitable Society. The college has been conceived as a temple of learning for intellectual, cultural, aesthetic and skill development of the brilliant youth of the county.

Now, Shri Mahavir Educational Welfare and Charitable Society are going to start four year integrated course of B.A.B.Sc. B.ED in its campus Vidya Rattan  College For Women from  Session 2016-17.

• The student, drawn from the national level will be admitted to the course every year, they will be groomed well both in content and pedagogy.
• The medium of instruction will be English/Hindi/ and Punjabi and they will be competent to teach through Hindi/English and Punjabi medium.
• An eight-week internship programme for B.A./B.Sc B.Ed student in the fourth year provides them school experience under SEP (School Experience Programmed) which eventually enables them to develop the competencies they would require for imparting quality education in future.
• Field work with Community is one of the activities students of B.Sc.B.Ed, B.A.B.Ed. and B.Ed. are involved in besides work Experience, Physical Education, and Aesthetic Education.
• It exposes them to the realities of life that help them develop the skills they would require while interacting with the community in future.
• The college believes in using modern techniques and training for imparting its course. Vidya Rattan College of Education is equipped with modern faculties for its students. It also focuses on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the all round development of the students.

Eligibility Criterion:-

B.Sc B.Ed:- Pass in +2 Science with minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate. The candidate should have either the subject combination of (a) Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or (b) Biology, Physics and Chemistry at +2 level. Separate application forms are required for each stream.

B.A. B.Ed:- The candidates have passed the Intermediate (10+2) from recognized board.
